2016 CALL FOR PRESENTERS

The Arizona Association of Drug Court Professionals (AADCP) and the ASU Center for Applied Behavioral Health Policy invite you and your colleagues to submit a proposal for one of our breakout sessions at the upcoming 2016 AZ Problem Solving Courts Conference: All Rise for Solutions, scheduled for April 2016, in Prescott, AZ. We seek proposals for 75-90 minute sessions to be held on Monday and Tuesday.

 

Application deadline FOR THE APRIL 25 - 27, 2016 Conference is January 1, 2016

Lead presenters will be notified of their application status in late February 2016

 

Submission Guidelines

Presentations should speak to applying evidence based or best practices research into practical application in a problem solving court setting. The goal of the conference is to provide training that will lend to practical application and skill building to problem solving courts in Arizona and its staff. This year's conference will focus on the following subject areas and workshops should relate to one or more of the following areas:

• Veteran's Issues

• Mental Health/Treatment

• Best Practices/Evidence Based Practices

• Juvenile/Young Adult Issues

• Ethics/Cultural Diversity

 

Attendees of the conference will include the following: judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, probation officers, parole officers, law enforcement, social workers, addiction counselors, treatment providers, community advocates, alumni/participants, government officials, Veteran Affairs, Native American Tribal communities, educators, and students.

Sessions are limited to a total of 3 presenters including the lead presenter. The Lead Presenter receives free registration.
